💫 Meet Kim-
Founder of A Lil’Bit of Healing Pain Relief, MedMassage & Bodywork
Hello, I’m Kim Dorrough Palmer, Licensed Massage Therapist and founder of A Lil’Bit of Healing Pain Relief, MedMassage & Bodywork in Little Elm, Texas.
For more than 22 years, I have specialized in medically focused therapeutic bodywork designed to identify and relieve persistent pain patterns within the body.
Throughout my career, I have noticed that many people continue experiencing pain even after receiving multiple treatments. Often the reason is simple: the true source of the pain has not yet been identified.
My work focuses on locating those underlying causes—particularly muscular guarding, fascial restriction, and compensation patterns that frequently contribute to chronic pain.
A Different Way to Understand Pain
Over the years, I developed a clinical assessment approach called Pain Relief Mapping™.
This method evaluates how tension patterns move throughout the body to identify the primary source of restriction, rather than only treating the area where pain appears.
Pain Relief Mapping™ looks at:
• muscular tension patterns
• fascial restriction and tissue mobility
• trigger point referral pathways
• compensation patterns throughout the body
By identifying the underlying contributors to pain, treatment can focus on restoring mobility, reducing muscular resistance, and supporting lasting relief.
Areas of Focus
My work centers on helping individuals experiencing:
• chronic neck and back pain
• thoracolumbar tension patterns
• sciatica patterns
• postural dysfunction
• trigger point referral pain
• mobility restrictions in the spine and shoulder complex
• muscular compensation related to injury or repetitive stress
Many of the clients I see have tried other approaches but continue experiencing discomfort because the soft-tissue pattern contributing to their pain has not yet been addressed.
A Personalized Approach to Healing
Every body is different. My sessions are designed to address each client’s specific pain pattern through a combination of therapeutic techniques, including:
• medical massage
• myofascial release
• trigger point therapy
• neuromuscular techniques
• lymphatic drainage when appropriate
Each treatment plan is customized to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and mobility.
Bringing Therapeutic Care to Your Home
A Lil’Bit of Healing provides professional in-home therapeutic bodywork, allowing clients to receive focused treatment in the comfort of their own environment.
This mobile approach allows for a more relaxed experience while delivering the same level of professional care found in clinical settings.
My Mission
My goal is simple:
Help people move through life with less pain and greater freedom.
By combining experience, clinical observation, and targeted therapeutic techniques, I work to help clients restore comfort, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.
